Unique smell. Elegant perfume

Unexpected Affection

This fragrance shocked me at first. I wasn't sure how to feel about it for months! So much so that I kept coming into the store to re-smell it! I lowkey found it so gross that I liked it. It's definitely powdery and aldehydic, but it has this softness to it too. I ended up becoming obsessed and couldn't get it out of my mind. The vintage cologne bottle is also such a perfect touch. Give it a chance!

Beautifully old-fashioned

This is the sort of camphoraceous woody scent that just doesn’t get produced nowadays - it is absolutely gorgeous. The opening is very strong terebinth/turpentine and citrus, has a real nineteenth-century vibe to me (quite medicinal), but then it becomes all woods and moss. Not a blind buy but if you like old-fashioned scents and/or woods and moss, it is unmissable!

La Marescialla è stato un suo regalo, tanti e tanti anni fa, e da allora è stata e sarà sempre il mio unico profumo, così come Maresciallo sarà sempre il grado con cui tutti lo hanno chiamato e continueranno a farlo, anche se ormai è un Luogotenente C.S...
Ci sono poche certezze nella vita, soprattutto se si è moglie di un militare...si cambia città, lavoro, amicizie, abitudini, ritmi...
La Marescialla rappresenta per me un'imprescindibile "isola felice" di ricordi e realtà.
Quando potrò concedermi una spesa "fuori budget", mi regalerò una nuova confezione...quella attuale, dopo ben 12 anni...è quasi finita!
